Description

The sampling panel is used to distribute gas sample and calibration standards to gas analyzers. It controls the gas pressure and flowrate through the monitoring system. All operating and control functions are fully front panel assessable. Sample and calibration gas standards can be easily selected using a front panel switch. For un-heated sampling streams, a rotameter with valve monitors and controls the gas flow to each analyzer individually. The sample and calibration gas pressures are regulated to ensure proper analyzer calibration and measurement accuracy. Sample by-pass is available if fast-loop sampling is required. Coalescing and guard filters are provided to remove any particulate. All wetted parts are made of chemically inert material to assure sample representativeness.

The panel also supports loop-back calibration. This is an essential tool for complete system calibration and performance evaluation. Calibration gas standards can be introduced into the system near the sampling point. The calibration gas is exposed to the same flow path and conditioning as the sample gas. Any leak, contamination or other problems in the sampling path can be identified.
