Model 710 - Steam and Fluid Sample Conditioning Module
Description
The Module is a complete stand-alone monitoring unit. It is capable of automatic continuous sampling and conditioning of steam and/or process fluid for analysis. With on-line analyzer (optional), steam and water quality can be analyzed for real-time control purposes, such as boiler blowdown control. The module consists of the following major components.
Sample Condensation / Cooling - A sample cooler will be used provided for sample condensation and cooling. It has a coiled tube in shell design with 316 stainless steel tube and 304 stainless steel shell.
Sample Pressure Reduction - Pressure Reduction is accomplished by using an orifice. This design assures steady pressure reduction and is fail-safe. The reducer is self-limiting and any accidental over-pressure release is not possible. There is no moving part and no consumable to replace.
Sample Pressure Display - Sample pressure after reduction is displayed by a pressure gauge.
Pressure Relief - This protects the sampling equipment and the grab sample from over-pressure.
Temperature Indication - Sample temperature after cooling will be provided stream.
On-line Analyzer (Optional) - Analyzer such as Conductivity, Cation Conductivity, pH, etc. can be incorporated. Sampling flowrate is user adjustable.
Grab Sample - Manual grab sample will be provided for subsequent analysis. Sample flowrate is user adjustable. An optional SS grab sample sink can be supplied.
